Qualified candidates should have five to seven years of experience designing and coordinating projects from Schematic Design through Construction Administration phases. As well as, thorough knowledge of building systems and how to assemble a comprehensive drawing set. Candidates should be self-directed, able to take feedback and direction from others, prioritize project tasks, and coordinate among other project disciplines. The ability to collaborate and effectively communicate with teammates, consultants and clients is extremely important. Candidates must possess good physical model making skills, be proficient with REVIT, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite.
The Interior Design Manager is responsible for coordinating with firm’s Principals and Project Managers to determine interior design project scope as well as interior designer staffing, workflow and project deliverables. The Interior Design Manager acts as a mentor to the other interior design staff members and will be assigned to support interior design services as a project team member as necessary. As a member of the project team, the Interior Design Manager may be involved in selection of interior finished for shell and core, test fit layouts, programming for spaces, production of material sample boards, FFE services, review of construction submittals and RFI’s, site visits during construction, etc. We are seeking individuals with over ten years of experience working with commercial corporate and higher education interiors clients. Candidates should also have extensive knowledge of current workplace trends, experience working with project schedules and developing fees and making design presentations. The ability to motivate team members and communicate well with co-workers and clients is essential for the position.
Duda|Paine Architects is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to assist the firm’s Principal in charge of contracts and staffing. This person will be focused on typing, sending, tracking and filing all project contracts and ensuring all project consultants have up to date insurance certificates. Additionally, the Administrative Assistant will be responsible for a variety of typical administrative support duties including but not limited to booking travel, creating weekly PowerPoint presentations for Staff Meetings and assisting with office social functions. Qualified candidates will possess a bachelor’s degree plus two years of administrative experience in a professional office setting. Candidates must be able to work both independently and within a team environment, have a positive attitude and a meticulous attention detail.
