Amanda has sharpened her dexterity in design and problem-solving at Duda|Paine. She gravitates to projects that are programmatically complex, entwined with the communities they serve, and shine in their context. Her commitment to design excellence is best demonstrated in her thoughtful design and coordination across all building phases and scales. She believes the daily experience of building users should bring them joy and a sense of belonging.

Amanda was an integral team member for projects like the Duke Faculty Club, the Winter Park Center for Health and Wellbeing, and Walmart’s Whole Health Institute in Bentonville, Arkansas. Each of these projects exemplify the execution of a visionary client mission to weave wellness into people’s day-to-day experiences. On the Winter Park and Bentonville projects, she served as lead programmer through all design phases and oversaw construction. The ability to be involved in and contribute to a design project from concept through construction is one of the many reasons Amanda became an architect.
