Brian Payne, AIA

Associate | Director of Digital Practice

Motivated by the success of his colleagues and the firm’s clients, Brian Payne creates tools to address the multiple perspectives of architecture including project management, constructability, client impact, documentation and specifications.

Favorite Duda|Paine project?

The Dillon, because of its foreseeable positive impact on the city of Raleigh, the engagement that it will have with adjacent new projects such as Grand Union Station, and the adaptive reuse aspects of the project.

Do you have a guiding principle for your architectural work?

To make memorable spaces and architectural moments that people want to experience.

What attracted you to the architectural field?

I actually was introduced to architecture rather haphazardly. Once I experienced it though, I knew it was going to be something I would easily fall in love with.
