What attracted you to the architectural field?
I believe we should leave the world better than we found it and that I personally can make the biggest positive impact through architecture.
Favorite Duda|Paine project?
Duke Integrative Medicine for its expression of the structure as enclosure. Walking through the timber arcades is iconic and memorable—experiences every project should strive to achieve. The design’s material palette and proportions make is reside harmoniously in the Duke Forest. The use of transparency and natural daylight from above further emphasize the connection to nature. This project is beautiful art and a special place where visitors are healed.
What aspect of your job most interests you?
Designing places for people to spend the happiest moments of their lives.

I grew up in England and was named after St. Christopher, the patron saint of travelers.
