Scott Baltimore  |  AIA

Associate Principal

Scott brings national and international design experience to Duda|Paine, including work with award winning firms in San Francisco, New York and Istanbul on projects in Kazakhstan, Russia, Libya, and Turkey. He draws from this broad understanding in his approach to projects, believing that architecture is intrinsically tied to culture and context. Scott achieves client satisfaction by centering on the individual requirements of a building’s program and function. His diverse career path, varied experience and humanistic perspective is informing new models for wellness, learning and gathering.

Architecture is the perfect application of the two things Scott is most passionate about: rationality and art. Originally, he was enticed by the craft of art and building-making. Now, after years in the architecture field, he gains increasing satisfaction from working with each client and helping them realize their vision and dreams. Scott has been instrumental in shaping the Duke Student Wellness Center, UVA’s Student Health & Wellness Center and the Emory Student Center.
