Principal
As a Principal at Duda|Paine Architects, Russ Holcomb provides senior leadership and oversight of project operations, staff utilization, numerous active projects and supports business development efforts. During his more than nineteen years at Duda|Paine Russ has provided leadership on such notable projects as One North Hills, the Roxboro at Venable, Talley Student Union, and the BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee Campus.
Russ joined Duda|Paine Architects after working at Cesar Pelli & Associates for fifteen years. During his tenure at Pelli, he served as a designer, project architect and project manager with experience in all phases of design and construction on a wide range of academic, institutional and corporate projects including the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, Cheung Kong Centre, Hong Kong, and the Miami Performing Arts Center.
He appreciates projects that successfully and positively impact the organization’s employees and benefit the surrounding community. His strong desire to build stems from the influence of his mom, an artist, and his dad, an engineer. Outside of the studio, Russ enjoys skiing the Rockies in Wyoming and Jackson Hole, as well as mountain biking.
