This year’s Best in Atlanta Real Estate Awards Office Deal of the Year replaces an underutilized site with a skyline-shaping signature office tower anchoring a new corporate campus, relocates a huge workforce to Atlanta’s hottest — and maybe hippest — submarket, and is projected to pump a huge number of dollars into the city’s economy.

In July 2015, NCR Corp. and Cousins Properties Inc. announced that they had inked a 15-year build-to-suit lease in which the consumer transaction technology giant would relocate its world headquarters to a $200 million, 485,000-square-foot building, developed and owned by Cousins, on a four-acre site at Spring and 8th streets in Centergy North, part of Georgia Tech’s Technology Square innovation district.
