Jack McManus |  AIA

Architect

Jack has always felt compelled to make and build new things. First learning to communicate ideas with words and images as a newspaper editor and page designer, he discovered that architecture presents boundless opportunity to turn abstract ideas into physical reality and, ultimately, contribute to community life. He appreciates the magical transformation that happens when an idea develops from an abstract concept into form, space and experience.

Jack appreciates designs that gain layers of meaning and insight as teams collaborate through sketching, modeling, building virtual environments and preparing construction documents. He enjoys the cooperative process that leads to rich and inspiring architecture.

Master of Architecture, North Carolina State University
Bachelor of American Studies, Hamilton College
